That Broken Heart




That broken heart came drunk, and beat me up so badly,  
 My baby had to hide in the trunk, I loved him but he was deadly
That broken heart came frustrated , the fear of facing the same
 thing tonight, over me he was undefeated, those ropes were too tight
That broken heart came with pain, all of it taken out on me,
 I knew she will never be the same, love is all a myth
That broken heart came jealous, something so sharp, it’s a knife,
 I was too loquacious, he forgot I’m his wife
That broken heart came drunk, that punch came like a grenade,
 she treated me like a punk, I was just having some lemonade
