The secret behind being a journalist on the move

Hi dear readers!

Today I want to share with you the secret behind the journalist on the move in the eyes of those who don’t understand my move. Well by now most of you may know already that Journalism is my life and everything I do that has to do with informing which I do, with so much pleasure.

In 2016 I left my family and friends in a country I call home (Namibia) and came back home (Angola) to learn amongst the best of journalists. Ever since I came here, life hasn’t been a sea of roses, communicating in Portuguese was very difficult because I grew up speaking English, but that didn’t stop me from talking. So many doors were closed, but I didn’t give up. Many were the times I was criticized because of a move I made, but that didn’t stop me from moving further. I was discouraged and misquoted so many times but that didn’t stop me from moving and continue doing what I like doing.

Be brave enough to accept criticism and welcome them and strong enough to never give up/ not ignore them and make them useful. I may not be known across the globe, but the desire to never give up will earn me a place one day. In whatever I do, I never give up and that’s my secret

Let’s talk about friends for a moment!

They say show me your friend s and I will tell you who you are , right? That statement may be so true, due to the way we show up and take up space. So, with that said, what type of friends are you keeping in your life? Do they stick around on your worse and broke days? Or are they just friends when all is well? Those were some of the questions I had to ask myself to get to that one person that I highly consider as a true friend. Friends play a very important role in our lives , but you will never know who is that friend playing the important role in your life, u ntil you speak certain things from the depth of your being to the ir hearing, for you to know who is for you as a real friend. Do not be afraid to lose friends, if they don’t move, add value to your life  or drain your energy to level zero. Come on baby, it’s time for you to clear up your friendship closet. Your time here on earth is way too valuable to be waisted by friends with no purpose. Get yourself...
Shine in Faith this year “This will be your best year ever if it's your best year Spiritually,” by Pastor Mike Todd. When I came across the statement above, I stood still for a moment, and a silence I couldn’t explain arose within me for a while. After that, I started reflecting on how things come together effortlessly when we first seek the kingdom of God, and yet we do exactly the opposite. I knew it was no coincidence that a statement like that had to pop up in my news feed; it was a message to remind me that things would only happen if I put God first in everything I do. With that said, I sincerely hope this truth sinks within your soul and allow God to be at the center of everything you planned for this year. Make this your best year with God, and hold on to your faith tightly, no matter your circumstances.
Ola conquerors 😍! This weeks menu 👉🏽Love more. Sometimes we are too quick to judge others without getting to know them first, which is such a bad thing to do. Everyday life presents to us people with different characteristics and habits and the question is how well do you know these people to judge them at first sight, not much right? So here is the deal, make it your business to look for at least that one thing you love in someone and rather be inspired. It is not healthy to dislike someone just because you think you know them already. Make it your mission to not be the one to judge but yes the one to find that something in someone that will add value to your life.  Be of good faith and break the chain of judging people before knowing them, by doing so you are adding blessings upon blessings into your life.
